I don’t remember the last time a video made me cry this hard.
Watching Daniel, this 16-year-old boy who stood up to an angry Arab mob as he walked down the street holding an Israeli flag high and proud, is so phenomenally moving.
Maybe it touches such a deep place in my heart because this video expresses the essence of what it is to be a Jew. Even when it’s hard. Even when it’s dangerous. Even when the whole, entire world is against you.
Jewish moms everywhere salute Daniel, and also the Jewish mom and dad who managed to raise a son like this.
