Send Condolences to Mrs. Kletzky

Send Condolences to Mrs. Kletzky

It was so hard to sleep last night after seeing that holy face, those sweet peyos, the innocent eyes of murdered 9-year-old Leiby Kletzky z”l.

And today too. Outside it’s only the 12th of Tammuz, but inside my heart it feels like the 9th of Av.

Rebbetzin Esther Jungreis tells an unforgettable story in her book, A Meaningful Life. A couple in her community suffered the loss of their only child, a horrible, almost unbearable tragedy. Several days after the shivah had ended, Rebbetzin Jungreis met the bereaved mother, who told her, “I can’t tell you how grateful we are to your husband. Nobody else was more helpful to us during the shivah than him.”

Curious to know what he had said to the family, later that evening Rebbetzin Jungreis asked her husband, Rabbi Meshulam Jungreis, zt”l, “Tell me, what did you say to them that was so comforting?”

Rabbi Jungreis responded, “I didn’t say anything. I just sat and cried together with them.”

I know that Jewish mothers around the globe are crying together with Mrs. Kletzky and her family today.

Please leave your condolences for Mrs. Kletzky and her mourning family below, and PLEASE WRITE WHERE YOU LIVE so they will know that people around the world are crying with them too…

Please G-d, may we only hear good news!

To those posting here… http://www.petitiononline.com/34765221 Please sign the petition making Levi Aron’s charge a more serous charge from Second Degree to First Degree charge that will require him to be in prison 25 years instead of the 10 years minimum he may now receive as a sentence. This is extremely important so that he will not be out on the streets to hurt anyone else in just 10 years.

But one day, although it is unfathomable to imagine now, Leiby’s smile, innocence and sweetness will prevail and dispell the awesome darkness which is engulfing you and your family. Take comfort in knowing that the memories of his short pure life will sustain you and your family in the days ahead. May Leiby’s memory be a blessing and give you strength. There are no stronger birth pains than this. The crowning of the Geula is evident. It is only with the coming and blessing of Moshiach who will nurture you and give you strength. May it be the will of the Aibishter Now.

But more than that, i also daven that you should get to the point where you can again just feel–anything. And that when you do get to that needed point ay”h, that HASHEM gives you the strength to know that it’s not because you are ‘losing’ Leiby zt”l or ‘moving on,’ … but that it is Leiby who has helped get you there.

  83. There are no words to describe the pain and heartbreak we are all feeling in the face of your unfathomable loss. We are all davening that you,and all of Klal Yisrael, be spared from any more suffering or pain. 96. There are no words to comfort you. May you be comforted by Hashem with the coming of Moshiach today and by Techiyas Hameisim which will bring Leiby Hakadosh back. I just want to let you know that Klal Yisroel loves you and that all the Jewish Mommies around the world are sending you their hugs and tefillos. Your Leiby has touched and united all of Klal Yisroel – may that alone be enough to bring Moshiach today.

I watched the funeral. I didn’t understand a single word, yet I cried a lot. I cannot imagine the depth of your pain. But I pray for your pain to end. I remembered hearing someplace that when a young child dies, it is because he is the neshama of a of a tsadick that was incomplete… missing something to make it perfect. When his neshama is perfect, his job here is complete and he gets to go to olam haba. You, as his mother will have the special zechus to be in his presence whenever you want. Not very many people will have access to such a special tzadick. But Hashem only places these special neshamos in very special hands.

I never expected to see a tzadick look so beautiful.

    Love,
    Rochelle

  101. Dearest Kletzky Family:

Although we cannot imagine the depths of your pain, we feel great pain in your loss, which is everyone’s loss. He was a beautiful child, and in his short life, he made such an impact on everyone because of his innocence. No words can anyone say to take away your pain, but please know that you are loved and cared for. We truly feel tremendous sorrow, and send you love so you can get through this painful time.

This incident involving the holy soul of Leiby Kletzky A”H has undoubtedly moved masses of people around the world with a powerful, infinitely powerful impact. Please G-d, help the full strength that this impact has had on each person that it touched, only move him or her towards a better place, closer to you, through studying your holy Torah (Bible) and performing proper avodah (prayer etc.) and acts of kindness in this world.

If the full impact that this event has had on the world is channeled towards goodness, how tremendously good the world will become. If we don’t allow this impact to be channeled towards goodness, then this event will only leave us in a world where brutal murder occurs (G-d forbid this should ever be the case).

Please G-d, help us prevail with the former option of bringing goodness. While the wound in our heart is still wide-open, let it race towards goodness. While our hearts are still wide-opened and exposed, let us seize the opportunity to fulfill your commandment of loving you “bchol levavcha” (translation: “with all your heart”, commandment quoted from Deuteronomy 6:5).

Furthermore, please G-d, help us SEIZE this opportunity, for the heart heals fast, and when the wound is closed, how much more confined our potential becomes, as what is left is a scar, which is something different than what was there before, something thicker. Let us quickly purify what is inside of ourselves, what is inside of our hearts, so that the tougher, less penetrable, healing scar that grows over the wound, will only become a strong fortress for goodness.

Please G-d, help us all. We have just been reminded of our lowliness as people. We need your help. Please enable us to translate the full impact of this event into goodness as such a tremendous amount of goodness would inevitably redeem our world.

Let us each start now by accepting (bli neder) upon ourselves, one small act of goodness, one more small step towards the redemption.

Let this redemption from the Merciful One come speedily and bring comfort to the Kletzky family and to all the mourners for Zion and Jerusalem.

    Dear Mama Kletzky,

I am unable to forget about this story I saw on the news a few days ago. I have been praying for your comfort and peace as you walk through this tragedy in your life. I pray that G-d will touch you and heal you quickly, and give you peace. Here are some scriptures for you: Psalm 55 – especially verse 22: “Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.” And also Isaiah 43 – all of it – but especially verse 1 and 2 which says: “Thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: ‘Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the LORD your G-d, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior…”(please read the rest on your own). I pray that you will find comfort in the presence of the LORD and know that His love for you is incomparable and His Spirit grieves with you during this time. As a mother, I can imagine the pain you must feel and the thoughts you must be battling as you remember the past week’s events and so I pray that you will be released from the torment of those thoughts that do not bring comfort and peace, and instead be surrounded by comforting words that bring healing and love.

There are no words, only tears. We, your sisters and brothers in Klal Yisrael, are with you. We share your pain and your loss—it is ours as well. May Hashem grant you and all of us what we need to deal with so great a tear in our nation and our hearts. I will be daveing for you and your family.

May we see the light of Moshiach come to its zenith and be reunited with all our loved ones very, very soon.

Below are words that are not mine, but I couldn’t have expressed myself better. I found them so helpful and moving and I don’t know if the Kletzy family will see them in another way so I wanted to share them with the family here. It’s a tefillah written to Leiby. May we know no more sorrow and be zoceh to see and feel Hashem’s love.

“I hope Hashem is everything you expected Him to be. I hope He greeted you with open arms and kissed away the tears that were surely on your holy neshama. I hope He’s giving you the grand tour of Heaven, wherever that may be. I hope He’s introducing you to your heroes, having you sit down and talk with Avraham Avinu himself. I hope He’s listening to you as you beg him to help your family overcome their loss. I hope the two of you are watching over Moshe ben Raizel from above, keeping him safe until we find him, because our people cannot cope with another tragedy. I hope you point out that the abundance of volunteers and the outpouring of tefillos for your sweet little neshama should make Him proud for having chosen us as His people. I hope He cries with you and explains to you why He put such evil and sickness into this world. I hope He holds your little hand and tells you why you needed to be so brutally murdered. I hope He shows you the special place you will reside for all eternity, among the holiest of holy, and gives you the direct pass to His chambers so you can be with Him whenever you please. I hope you find family and friends up there; the ones down here are broken. I never met you, Leibby, but you are my brother, you are my people, and through you I have seen that despite the many flaws of our community, we are still ONE and always will be”

  144. I’ve been going to sleep thinking about Leiby and waking up thinking about Leiby. I have gone to my basement and cried and cried, felt my heart ripped open, and beseeched H-shem “ad mosai”?? A zis yingeleh, a tayereh neshama, no chet upon his pure soul, only love and Torah learning. I visualize Rochel Imeinu crying for Leiby and his mishpacha. And I know all my tears and those of the rest of the klal don’t come close to the pain that Leiby’s Mommy and Tatty feel. We are all here. Crying with you. Leiby has brought out the best in us, showed us that we are a unified nation. May all our collective tears and especially those of Leiby’s family, cause H-shem’s “cup of tears” to overflow and cause Moshiach to come speedily.
