No matter how much we would like to, we cannot solve all of our children’s problems. But through empathy we can still assist them through life’s inevitable challenges.

  1. That was really beautiful and powerful. Thank you for sharing. I know that many times in my life when I feel an overwhelming sense of fear or sadness, the way I get that sense of comfort is to reconnect to Hashem. To daven and just ask for His warmth and light to envelope my home. Almost always this helps to reinstate the sense of security that I need for myself to be able to make my kids feel safer.
