  1. Thanks for sharing that it was really inspiring. Love the point about the “unknown” it’s definitly going on my to do list. It’s also an appreciation of the present which I find can be difficult to have when you’re working on being more of a planner.

  2. Amen!!! I am a To-Do list person and my to-do lists have babies who have grandchildren. I spill every thought on paper just so I can relax and stop thinking about them!

    THANK YOU.

  3. This was one of the most phenomenal jewishmom pep talks ever. It addressed such a fundamental difficulty I have of planning my day a certain way and then being thrown by “the Unknown”. I am going to watch this over and over.
    Thank you.

  4. so important to remember – both points, put it on paper so we don’t obsess and also to be ready for whatever comes our way.

  5. Wow, I love this one. Felt like it was meant just for me! I went to a shiur recently on happiness and through the shiur I came to the conclusion that unhappiness is when you feel like things are not the way they are meant to be. Ie: if the baby cries when they are “due” for a feed you feed them and its generally not a source of unhappiness, but if they are kvetchy and they just ate, you feel like it isn’t supposed to happen this way and you start getting frustrated. I think that fits in with your point of the unknown – the unknown often frustrates or disappoints us because we didn’t expect it – we can’t help but think – its not meant to be this way, I didn’t plan it to be this way. Thanks for reminding us that there is a higher plan!
