Tips for a Good Life from Emuna Alley

The other day I was wandering around Jerusalem and came across a place with a special name: Emuna Alley. So I poked around a bit and realized that this special name belongs to a special place that can teach us some secrets for the best possible life…

Life might look pretty grim and you feel like you are stuck on a narrow path leading nowhere...

But if you keep on walking slowly but surely down Emuna Alley, in the end you'll reach the highway of hope.

But if you keep Emuna in your heart and keep putting one foot in front of the other, in the end you’ll reach the highway of your dreams.

  1. I love how you can learn from the the simple things around you. Thanks for sharing- it was just what I needed today 🙂

  2. Lovely lessons, but it still makes me sad that Israelis throw their trash everywhere. IYH, when I make Aliyah, I’m going to be “that crazy lady” who goes out every morning with a broom and sweeps up the gutters. I’ll probably yell at people if I catch them littering, too.

    • I think that the mess that you saw was the aftermath of the snow.

    • there was a huge blizzard two weeks ago that knocked down a ton of trees. That’s why there’s all those branches on the ground. It doesn’t usually look like this.

  3. Thanks so much for posting “real life” photos of the Land of Israel. Those of us who have never visited can have a storybook idea of how things look, based on commercial photos of lovely landscapes and historical places. This makes me feel like I’ve really visited! (wishful thinking…)

  4. I love this post and I feel so blessed to be living in Yerushalayim Ir Hakodesh!
