8. Ann of Gush Etsion, Israel

My grandmother always told me that during WWII, when she was being hidden with her aunt in the French countryside that her elderly aunt would say "One day the war will end and we will go to the land of Israël where orange trees grow in the streets!" I feel so lucky to see this dream come true!

9. Carol Friedman of Highland Park, New Jersey

Gratitude - That I have created a club, where I am loved and accepted for being me by each of its members. I am grateful that I have been blessed with the ability to create a club-house, a nest, a place for me to have the room to grow closer to G-d. (Numbers 2-7 are items that are in my club-house.)

10. Shira Rachel Robin of Efrat, Israel

This is my daughter, Mali Tova. Her middle name is in honor of my maternal grandmother who bought the dress in this picture 40+ years ago for me when she visited Israel. I am so grateful that my mom (who saves nothing) saved this dress and brought it to Israel so that my daughter could wear it when she received her great-grandmother's name this past May.

    • and thanks so much to you CM– this contest wouldn’t have happened if you hadn’t sent me that video!!!

  3. I voted, but it wasn’t easy. B’hatslacha to everyone:)

  4. Just saw the last three today for the first time. Judging on the basis of photography was my only way to go since everyone had wonderful ideas and expressed them beautifully. We can all learn from this to focus on the positive, think positive, and enjoy our blessings.

I hope Mali Tova wins. The dress is very beautiful and the fact that
it was a gift from her great grand mother is so special. Having her name and now having her gift is so amazing.

  6. You have a Sara Rochel on top and a Shira Rochel in the links.
