Wow, scary story, happy to hear everything OK. We also had a feeling of renewel motzei pesach when our child couldn’t breathe and we called ambulance. How grateful I am that I can change my child’s diaper, wake up for my child a couple times a night, carry my child in my arms to pick up my other child from school. All the things that bugged me before I get so excited for now.
how terrifying, what happened? Do you want us to daven for him or is he OK now?
Amazing pep talk, thanks so much for sharing! So glad everyone is healthy now. I think I’m going to borrow your idea about snapping a mental picture. I’ve been working on feeling joy with my kids for a while and it seems perfect.
wonderful! what I meant to say in the peptalk, but forgot to, is that it’s not too late to start the microscopic avoda of the 72 days of chesed! Just start today, if you haven’t already, and keep on going, for even a moment a day. And I can almost guarantee you will see big changes:)
Baruch Hashem, baby fine now. It was a terrifying 5 min until ambulance came. Thank you for asking
Thanks for always reminding us about the 72 days of chesed, I’ve been working on it every year after your reminder!
Baruch Hashem that your family member is well. Thank you for sharing this story and this vital insight about renewing one’s deep appreciation for the good that is in one’s daily life. How a mother feels about raising her children passes on to the children’s perception of parenthood and affects their desire or lack thereof to have children of their own. It also has everything to do with whether the children feel loved and wanted.
