Maybe your daughter’s friend from nursery has no other way to buy things she needs or wants. Is it possible that both her parents don’t work and she doesn’t have the luxury to volunteer full time? Maybe her remark was just a way to hide the fact that she needs to make money. Maybe her parents have told her she needs to start saving for her wedding? Just some thoughts that come to mind.
hmmm, it is possible the parents told her they will stop supporting her or giving her pocket money when she is 18. That’s an interesting perspective. Enables me to judge her more favorably. thank you
