Nourishing Generations

Nourishing Generations

Yaakov brought this home from gan for Tu B’Shvat, and I loved it. Why? Because after a long day devoted to caring for and educating her children, a mother might collapse into bed and wonder whether her love, care, and educational efforts are leaving any real impression on her children. She might even start to fear that she isn’t leaving any impression at all on her child. But education is, as stated by revered educator and Warsaw Ghetto hero Janusz Korczak, the pursuit that leaves the most long-lasting impact not only on your child, but on generations to come.

  1. That is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing this reminder of how important our job as Jewish moms is!

  2. There is no doubt that the most wonderful and challenging job is being a mother….
Sometimes we feel that everything we do Will not affect our children, but in the long run we see the positive results and all that effort made to raise them is definetely worthy.
