“I’m Returning to You” by Agam Buchboot (3-Minute Music Video)

Over the last few years, 14-year-old Agam Buchboot has become one of Israel’s most popular singers. Her most recent hit is a love song to Hashem. My favorite line? “Thank you that sometimes it’s hard for me, because only after the darkness light comes to life.”

You, You are in joy
You are in my nights, I’m not alone
You, in every breath
And for my tears, I say “thank you”

Thank you for the voice, thank you for the songs
For the privilege of being your daughter, for all the moments
Thank you that sometimes it’s hard for me
Because only after the darkness light comes to life.

In the end, I’m returning to You
You watch over me that I won’t fall
Don’t abandon me, I scream to You
My strength is from You, You gave me everything
I love you, Father, my great G-d

You, You are in the silences
You are my heart, listening to prayers

Thank you for childhood, for family
Thank G-d everyone is going in Your way
Thank You if sometimes it’s hard for me
Because only after the darkness, light comes to life

In the end, I’m returning to You
You watch over me that I won’t fall
Don’t abandon me, I scream to You
My strength is from You, You gave me everything
I love you, Father, my great G-d
