Maia’s Wedding Was Just Cancelled Because of Pandemic: Please Send her a Mazal Tov!

I just found out that my daughter’s best friend Maia and her fiance, Avidan, have had to cancel the wedding they planned for next Sunday with 450 guests, the first child’s wedding for both families. Instead, since gatherings of over 10 people have been banned, 22-year-olds Maia and Avidan will be getting married this Friday with only a rabbi, parents, and siblings present. Even the couple’s excited grandparents won’t be allowed to attend their own grandchildren’s wedding.
I’m sure it will boost this wonderful couple’s spirits to receive mazal tovs from you JewishMOMs.
PLEASE LEAVE A MAZAL TOV NOTE FOR MAIA AND AVIDAN IN THE COMMENTS BELOW. PLEASE DON’T FORGET TO MENTION WHERE YOU LIVE. THANK YOU!

  2. Mazal Tov! So important not to cancel a Jewish wedding! May Hashem bless you with an everlasting edifice, and may your wedding be an inspiration to others, may the home you build be a source of light and inspiration for the Jewish people. Mazal Tov!

  3. Maia and Avidan, as we learn from so many instances in our Jewish history, and especially from the Purim story, great things and huge bracha come from sources that are hidden. May your small wedding ceremony, albeit hidden from the many people who were invited, bring you abundent and overflowing blessings together in your marriage.
May Hashem repay your mesirat nefesh a thousand fold.

  4. Maia and Avidan,
I cannot imagine how you are feeling right now, but know that the two most important people will be at your wedding
