The 17th of Tammuz Blues (5-Minute Music Video)
In this video, my husband’s student, Ari Lesser, sings the awesome “17th of Tammuz Blues.” The one problem with this song is that it falsely claims that “That day’s never been a good day for the Jews.” But I know for certain that a good thing did happen on the 17th of Tammuz at least once in Jewish history– on the 17th of Tammuz three years ago my daughter Tsofia BatTsion was born…MAZAL TOV!
And my daughter Rina was born on the same day, 3 years ago too! We named her Rina, a happy name, because one day when Moshiach comes all the sad fast days will become happy days once again. May it be speedily in our days!
