The hat is pretty! And thanks for the beautiful message. When my daughter gets fussy about her food, I try to give her other options and remember that she’s so little and doesn’t understand what she’s doing. It’s also easier not to get frustrated when you don’t have high expectations of what they’ll eat and how much. And for the majority of children in America at least, obesity is more of a problem than malnutrition, so worry is not warrented most of the time.
Thanks for this peptalk. I feel like it’s exactly what I needed to hear today. I have three kids under the age of 3 and sometimes I feel like I am going crazy – a mothering high one day and then the next day a low, and so on. I would like to just stay up for one solid week at least. Thanks for the encouragement. I think I’ll go on a walk today when my mother in law comes over.
Definitely a great message. Thank you for giving us so much of your time: I hope that it is in some way one of your treats to yourself as well, knowing how much we all appreciate it!!
My favourite self- treat is creating something for the house: I recently made a patchwork table runner out of loads of old tichels…. that was so fun and relaxing. I’m glad I gave myself the time to do it.
Otherwise I’ll buy a bunch of flowers (if I haven’t hinted strongly enough to my husband……)
