Agree, totally!
I think the reason might be is that Hashem gives one strength and capability to deal with today’s challenges – you do not have the capability today to deal with unknown future challenges – which in your mind you are creatively creating possibilities… the past you look back at and came through with shining colors because that is how Hashem planned it for you… the future is yet unknown – but trusting in Hashem that he will give you the necessary strength and capabilities to all future challenges is all you need right now. I think there is a quote something like “Live the present Learn from the past and Trust the future” and that is my motto these days! Now if only I can practice it as much as I preach it 😉
