Some Sad News

My mom, Gladys Arak Freedman, suffered a massive stroke on Wednesday and passed away peacefully the following day. I’m on my way now to Baltimore for the funeral and shiva. I’m sure I’ll be sharing more with you about the remarkable woman my mom was, as well as an incredible story about her death–at a later point. But I will be taking a break from regular posting until Tuesday November 17th.

Jenny, Over the years, I am sure all your readers have enjoyed reading about and seeing videos of your parents. The video about their first meeting is especially memorable.

May you be at peace knowing that Hashem blessed you with wonderful parents and may your mother’s soul find peace in Shamyim knowing how great a mother she was on Earth, and will always be in Heaven.
