Lag B’Omer ’20 vs. Lag B’Omer ’21
I love Lag B’Omer, and last year was such a sad one. With an official limit of 150 visitors at Mt. Meron. B”H, this year the infection rates are so low there will be no entry limit in Meron. That means that hundreds of thousands of Jews of all types and affiliations will join together at the largest gathering of Jews in the world. An annual reminder that no matter what divides us Jews from one another, underneath a Jew’s hat/kippah (or lack thereof) or wig/scarf (or lack thereof) the yearning of a Jewish soul is the yearning of a Jewish soul is the yearning of a Jewish soul.
