We have to remember that it is not actual prayer or words that we say that “work” to give us what we want, but rather our connection to our father in heaven that “works.”
When we speak to Hashem via prayers and accept we what He has in store for us we let go of our expectations and allow our Hashem to send the blessings which only He knows are good for us.
