A Peek Inside the Marriage of Rav and Rabbanit Kanievsky zt”l

At Rav Kanievsky’s funeral, his son Rav Shlomo Kanievsky described the special closeness his parents shared.

He explained how for many years his parents would wake up at sunrise to recite Birkot HaShachar, the Morning Blessings, together (see video below). First Rabbi Kanievsky would recite blessing after blessing, and to each one in turn the Rabbanit would answer amen. And then the Rabbanit would recite each blessing, and after each one Rabbi Kanievsky would answer amen.
