If I Could Learn Torah with Anybody this Shavuot: Rabbi Eitan Feiner’s Heartbreaking Answer

Josh is teaching this Shavuot at a shul in California, and my little boys are begging me to learn with them on Shavuot so they will get Popsicles when they go back to school on Sunday.
When they asked me I didn’t even look up from the pot I was stirring on the stove, “You know, metukim, that’s not really Eema’s thing…Why dont you ask your big brother?
Or your big sisters? Or a classmate who lives nearby?”
But after reading this heartbreaking answer from Rabbi Feiner, I feel like not only should I learn with my boys. I’m feeling like there’s nothing I would rather do in the whole world.
Thank you to Rabbi Eitan and Rebbetzin Aviva (whom I remember from when they lived in Shaarei Chesed, still waiting to become parents) for sharing this. May Hashem bless you and your son with health and everything good.
Chag Sameach!
