On my Way to the Corner Store to Stockpile Water
Tonight, on my way to the corner store to stock up on water in case the Iranian attack damages Israel’s water system, I saw double-parked cars on both sides of the street. Everyone else, it turned out, was coming to stockpile water too.
And then I saw a young couple walking by the corner store. He looked handsome in his suit and hat. She looked so pretty, her long hair flowing down her back. The date seemed to be going well.
Today is a scary day. Tomorrow probably will be too. Maybe we have scary. challenging months ahead of us.
But there will also be dates and, please God, weddings.
This is our specialty. They try to wipe us out. They try to destroy us.
And we (please God!) do what we Jews do: Am Yisrael Chai.
