A Yom HaShoah Mazal Tov
At 10 AM this morning at Ashdod’s Assuta Hospital the delivery-room staff stood in silence to honor the 6 million Jews murdered in the Shoah. But their silence was broken by the cry of a newborn baby joined the siren’s wail, a perfect expression of the intense joy intertwined with intense grief of the Jewish people.
“In your blood, shall you live.”
