Brothers’ Heartbreaking Tribute to their Mom (4-Minute Video)

Nicole Miller, a 34-year-old mother of 2, was tragically killed in a car accident 8 years ago. This video below features the incredibly moving song these boys wrote as a tribute for their mom.

Of course, I cried throughout this video (definite red alert tissue warning for this song). Especially because it got me thinking about my friend Hagit bat Leah who passed away 11 months ago today leaving behind 5 orphans ages 3-11. Hagit, I miss you so much. What a chasm you left behind in the hearts of your beautiful children and devastated husband.

Too awful.

JewishMOM, savor your life. What a gift Hashem is giving to me and to you every single day. The gift of being alive and being a mom.

Lyrics: A Thousand Miles for Mom

Making our way through life, growing fast, faces pass and I’m home bound.
Thinkin about you mom, while making our way, everyday without you.
And I need you. And I miss you. And now I wonder…

If I could fall, into the sky, do you think you, would be by my side?
‘Cause you know I’d walk a thousand miles if I could just see you tonight.

It’s always times like this when I think of you but I know somehow you’re watching over me.
Cause everything’s so wrong, you belong, in my world, sitting next to me.
And I still need you. I’ll always miss you, and now I wonder.

And I, I just want to let you know I, I dream of you all the time I, I, don’t want to let you go, I, I don’t.

‘Cause you know I’d walk a thousand miles if I could just see you…tonight.
