Newly-Engaged Couple Met at Corona Hotel
Bezalel Raphael Cohen and Ruth Shama got engaged last Thursday after staying in the same Corona Hotel.
The couple and their families tested positive for Corona over Passover, and were transferred to the Nir Etzion Hotel which was converted into a “recovery hotel” for religious Corona patients.
According to the report on Kikar HaShabbat, the bride-to-be’s brother had noticed a yeshiva student sitting for hours studying Torah on the hotel’s lawn. He was also impressed by the fact that this yeshiva student coordinated the Torah-study program for yeshiva students at the hotel.
A joint acquaintance of both families initiated an introduction between the families until the match took place.
“It was a good and exciting week,” replied former Defense Minister Naftali Bennett, “Ruth and Bezalel met at one of the Corona hotels we established and now they are getting married. I guess I’m a matchmaker! Mazal tov to you!
