I’ll admit that when I first heard this unbelievable story on Friday, I was sceptical. But over the last few days, as I hear more and more heart-wrenching stories of the holy boys and men who were killed, Rabbi Schachter’s story has flipped the way I view what happened in a way that has been deeply comforting. I pray it will bring comfort to the grieving families and friends as well.
