A Remarkable Chesed at the Train Station

Wonderful and yet totally standard in Israel. My kids are regularly losing their rav kavs / finding themselves stranded without enough money / stuck at a stop where the machine to charge it is broken. I cant count the number of strangers who have stepped in to get them home, without even asking for repayment. I think that’s part of what makes me comfortable letting them travel so freely by themselves – a feeling that while they may be far from me, they are never far from a helping hand. מי כעמך ישארל
