Tomorrow at 4 PM Israel Time (9 AM EST) 13 hostages, all of them women and children, are scheduled to be released by Hamas.
I cannot remember the last time I felt SO excited! Maybe right before I gave birth to my youngest child 8 years ago?
Which makes me remember that before October 7th, when all these hostages were still safe at home, it didn’t occur to me to jump for joy.
This War, I’m finding, makes me yearn for normal. And IY”H tomorrow, right before I light candles, I will jump for joy and say Mizmor l’Todah with tears in my eyes for normal!
