Thank you Chana Jenny! I do agree. I believe that true happiness comes from diligently obeying the voice of Hashem and observing carefully all His commandments. If He is your ONE and ONLY . . . then you will be blessed in everything you do. He is our only hope for our survival. If our priority is to please only ourselves and our own interests, we will come up short.
We should build up ourselves and do for ourselves and be selfish to a certain degree…but it is in order to give to others (to HaShem, to her community, her future husband, her future children, etc.)
